The Returns Warehouse works closely with the Great Basin Incident Support Cache. When equipment is returned from a wildland fire, it is sent to the Returns Warehouse for refurbishing and preparation for when it is next needed. A shovel, Pulaski or other tool may be used on a dozen or more wildland fires in an active fire year.
